Fall spice flavors, steamed milk, espresso, and whipped cream… I adore everything about a Pumpkin Spice Latte, except for the fact that it contains 50 grams of sugar—double the recommend daily intake.
That being said, I made it my mission to recreate the cozy fall treat with a healthier spin! My Clean Pumpkin Spice Latte is made with real pumpkin puree, non-fat milk, and grade A maple syrup.

Serves 1
Total Time
10 min
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling!)
- 1 ½ tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup milk (nut milk, nonfat milk etc) (I used lactose free nonfat milk)
- 1 shot espresso (or 1 tsp instant espresso powder)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/16 tsp cloves
- 1/16 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp ginger
Instructions
- In a medium sized saucepan, whisk all of the ingredients over medium heat until well combined. Keep stirring the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Once the latte comes to a simmer, transfer the drink to a blender and blend on high speed for about 20 seconds. Pour the latte into your favorite mug and enjoy!
